Are Winnerwell Stoves Suitable Cabins & Tiny Homes?

Whilst we are not equipped to give specific advice about using Winnerwell Stoves within your (non-Homecamp) tent, cabin, or tiny home - we recommend that you research the topic yourself and way up the risks involved.

If you do decide to use a Winnerwell Stove inside a cabin or tiny home we strongly recommend that you take extra precautions:

  • Ensure there is more than adequate ventilation whilst the stove is in use - e.g. windows and doors open
  • Have a Carbon Monoxide Detector & Alarm on hand
  • Clean out the stove flue regularly, removing all creosote

The Winnerwell WoodlanderPlus External Air Stove

In June 2021 Winnerwell launched a promising new product called the Winnerwell WoodlanderPlus External Air Stove. This stove has a patent-pending design that draws in air externally via a pipe system so that the stove is not consuming the same air as the occupants inside the shelter. This stove is extremely efficient and probably the best choice from the Winnerwell range for indoor use.
